Summermood
I can hardly wait for the sun’s rays to grow warmer again, allowing us to relish the beautiful flowers, the buzzing bees & bumblebees, and the splendid butterflies in our garden. This weekend marks the start of daylight saving time (in the Netherlands), so the first step toward summer is once again taken.

Beautiful Hibiscus flower
Speaking of beautiful summer blooms, last year, this splendid Hibiscus blossomed exquisitely in my garden. I was sitting comfortably in my own yard, savoring the moment, and it caught my eye how the sunlight delicately embraced this Hibiscus flower. The sunlight gently graced the flower, and by capturing the light at a certain angle, I achieved a stunning bokeh in the background. Naturally, I immediately grabbed my camera, for I couldn’t let this summer scene slip away.

Hibiscus

Zin in de zomer
Ik kan niet wachten tot de zonnestralen weer warmer worden en we in onze tuin kunnen genieten van de mooie bloemen, de zoemende bijen & hommels en de prachtige vlinders. Dit weekend begint de zomertijd (in Nederland) dus de eerste stap naar de zomer is weer genomen .

Kleurige Hibiscus bloem
Over mooi zomerbloemen gesproken. Deze prachtige Hibiscus bloeide vorig jaar super mooi in mijn tuin. Ik zat heerlijk in mijn eigen tuin te genieten en het viel me op dat het zonlicht prachtig op deze Hibiscus bloem viel. Het zonlicht viel zachtjes op de bloem en doormiddel van het licht in een bepaalde hoek op te vangen kreeg ik een prachtige bokeh op de achtergrond. Uiteraard heb ik meteen mijn camera gepakt, want dit zomers plaatje mocht ik niet laten gaan.
